(Little update on what's up with us and our horrible habit of not posting:) Ahh yes! The first post in almost 2 months. We are so sorry lovelies, but thank you for sticking by us. Its been a truly draining and tiring few weeks for us. We haven't seen each other in almost 3 months. School is getting harder and harder. We're over it all and we wish we could spend all our time focusing and putting all our energy into working on bettering this blog and making it a huge success. But, we have to be realistic and think simple for now - we have you, our loyal followers, and thats all we need. So yeah, school's been a pain in the ass! But when is it never?? This post is going to be extremely chill - nothing too serious, so if you stay for the rest of the read, thank you, you're my fave <3
These few months have been hard yes, but through it we managed to turn to a lot of creative outlets and forms of expression that helped us get our minds off the daunting amounts of studying that was to be done. I found that I turned to music a lot more and that will be pretty obvious in our next mixtape (yay?? !!). I think that this particular misfits mood issue, really focuses on the change in our moods by representing that through soft colours and textures - as the both of us are art students this makes sense lmao. The urge to focus on something else other than school work really puts the both of us in this state of constantly searching for what we would normally search for but in depth. I really turned to escaping through more scrolling vigorously on Tumblr blogs that gave me inspo and I'm pretty sure this was pretty much the same for Sab. It was this urge, something that was within us, to create something - essentially to do anything creative, but something was blocking it. Fashion, photography and the arts in general seem to bring us this sense of ease, and I think that the fact that we're aware of what outlets are able to calm us down and make us appreciate everyday details more, is pretty great.
To some, these are a bunch of pictures, but to us, its a mood board, and we're really focusing on this whole concept of 'mood' and expressing that through visuals - this is really what we're all about. I think that if you're going through what we are, or if you're similar when it comes to being a content creator or a creative, you'll get what I'm saying here... trust me I'm not just bullshitting this whole post!
Again,
Thank you a million times for constantly giving us love, we appreciate YOU! Every single one of you.
Love forever,
